'Small City Island was in Bangkok and was at Usman Halal Thai Food. Halal Food in Bangkok is increasing in availability and one of the older establishment in Bangkok is Usman Halal Thai Food. Located in Sukhumvit Soi 22, Usman Halal Thai Food does not only serve Halal Thai Food but also provides accommodation in the form of hostel. But I was there to try the halal thai food. What I had; 01. Grilled Beef 02. Mango Salad 03. Chicken Green Curry I had a great time savouring these three halal thai dishes which were very good and taste great. The Grilled Beef was tender, beautifully marinated and the dipping sauce made the taste amazing. The sauce was tangy, sweet and spicy all at once and this truly compliments the beef. As for the Mango Salad, it was not as spicy as I had expected. The crunch from the young mango was delightful. Along with the young mango, there were cashew nuts and crispy anchovies which both adds to the crunch. Fabulously tasty. When the Green Curry was served, the first thing that caught my eye was how creamy the curry looks and this was validated after tasting it. It was robustly flavourful and rich with coconut cream. The food served at Usman Halal Thai Food in Bangkok is authentic and does not have any modification, even though most of his clientele are from South East Asia nations.
